Do I need solar panels to have a battery?+
No. A battery can also be charged from the grid, for example during selected lower-cost tariff periods, subject to your tariff and system settings.
Can a battery be added to existing solar panels?+
Often, yes. We assess the existing inverter, electrical installation and generation profile before recommending an AC- or DC-coupled solution.
Will the battery power my property during a power cut?+
Backup power is not automatic with every battery. If outage protection matters to you, tell us at survey stage so compatible equipment and essential-load arrangements can be considered.
